Sentimenti Manifesti
The exhibition is the final result of a long exercise on line and composition that lasted almost ten years in black and white, through small-format works with markers, charcoal and ink.
More than 40 posters made, for a selection of 15 pieces plus two hand-painted books.

What matters is the action and what it represents. Seizing the moment, stealing it when intimacy happens and appears naked in front of the gaze. A shyness behind which no shyness is hidden.

The style of the works is inspired by the most pop mural painting, the frames of a neorealist cinema, polish illustration and an eroticism that winks at Shunga posters of the Japanese tradition.

For the occasion, the RUP 20112021 catalogue was printed, a selection of the last ten years of black and white works made with markers, charcoal and ink, including posters. The book contains texts by artists Thomas Berra and Ryan Spring Dooley.
