Objects that watching you
Video installation (1080HD, 8’ each) - Design Library, Milan, 2012
The site-specific project reverses the function of the artist as an observed object rather than an observer.
When I happen not to find home keys or other items in the house, I always think these items are looking at me while I am looking for them. From this thought emerged the idea of placing myself as an observed subject and objects as observers during a shared moment. Directed in a sequence shot and edited like a surveillance video that alternates the single points of view in a cyclical way.

The work was projected on a cinema screen inside a dark room, with an illuminated table in the centre on which the main objects of the work rested: the house keys, a clock, a computer mouse, a book, a cup, a coffee machine.
